Rogers and Dalhausser won the FIVB World Championships held in Gstaad Switzerland which made them the first US team to win the gold medal in the said tournament. In the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, Dalhausser and Rogers won the gold medal and during the final game, the newly crowned women beach volleyball champions were watching from the stand. The success of Dalhausser and Rogers made the U.S. the only country in the Olympics to win beach volleyball for both men and women in the same Olympics.
