Matt Treanor is a former American professional baseball player for Los Angeles Dodgers which has an estimated net worth of $1 million.

Matt Treanor began his career during the time he attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. He was named as second-team All-America and played during the Upper Deck high school baseball tournament.

He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 1994 as high school player. Treanor played for the Gulf Coast Royals in 1994, Springfield Sultans in 1995, Lansing Lugnuts in 1996 and the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 1997.

Treanor was traded by the Royals to the Florida Marlins in 1997, in exchange to Matt Whisenant. He made his major league debut in 2004. Then, he went to Marlins’ Triple-A affliates, Calgary Cannons, and Albuquerque Isotopes. Afterwards, he called up the majors twice in 2004.

With four years stint with the Marlins, Treanor moved to Detroit Tigers in 2008. But his stay with the team halted when he suffered from a bone spur on the right hip. He was placed under disabled list for the remainder of the season.

Then, he also played for several teams such as Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Cleveland Indians. Treanor returned to the Royals and Rangers in 2011 respectively. After years of playing baseball, he retired on May 8, 2014.
