Stitch a Motif
Decide which picture you want to stitch. Transfer it to a piece of Aida fabric with a vanishing pen. Cross stitch the chart as instructed, sewing over one block of Aida each time. For the coffee pot, use two strands of red threads and two strands of light pink thread for the border. For the tea pot, use two strands of light pink thread and two strands of light blue thread for the border. Finally, for the milk jug, use two strands of light blue thread and two strands of red thread for the border.
Make a Tea Cloth
Stitch the motif of your choice as per the instructions. Cut out the motif, leaving a three hole border all the way round the needlework, then fix fusible webbing to the back.
Iron the motif to the bottom left-hand corner of a tea towel. If it has a loop for hanging, make sure that the motif is ironed to the opposite side of it
